Ive noticed Rowan keeps referring Mr Bean as he/him like Mr Bean is a real person, not just a character for a tv show. He's not talking about himself being Mr Bean. The way he explained about the art of acting is so profound and pure genius.

Most outrageous thing I heard from them is that he actually died of a complications from his non-existent "disease". Then I tell them the story of how Rowan woke up his Pilot from a falling Plane by slapping him a bunch of times. Then they'd say "But he's already dead" and then I'd have to point out that if he's dead, how did he get invited to the Wedding of Prince William and Cate Middleton.

Wow it's awesome seeing his take on this. I grew up with him on public tv in the 90s, used to love watching him at night with my parents back when things were simpler. Absolutely wild and incredible to see the level he was working on as an adult.

This man has a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering but he is by far One of the Greatest Comedians to ever grace this planet. Entertaining kids and adults for over 3 decades without saying a single word. He was our childhood entertainment for hours. Beyond Legend. Thank you Rowan Atkinson for all that you have done.

@@DanteYewToob For sure. Ali Tabatabaee, one of the vocalists of my favourite band, Zebrahead, was a pre led biology student before forming the band with his friends. And Matty Lewis, who joined the band a decade later after a member left, was a teacher before joining. Some people find that they have other, stronger, passions outside of academics and such. I think we’d all be surprised at just how many famous actors and musicians acquired a degree in something before taking the path that made them famous for what they’re known for.

Some years ago I spent time with my father's Thai wife's family. They didn't speak a word of English, neither did I speak Thai. So, naturally - after a while, it started to get a bit awkward for us all sitting there staring and nodding at each other. Then I remembered Mr. Bean. They had never heard of him but instantly caught on when I played videos I found on youtube. We had a great time laughing together!

This past New Years, I was once again in the Hospital. This time with a newly discovered Heart issue. Mr Bean cheered me up just like he did last time I was hospitalized back in 1993. THANK YOU again Rowan, for helping me laugh. I am home and on the mend

I recently got to re-watching Mr.Bean here on KZfaq (after growing up on it in the 90s). As a kid, that armchair scene didn't bother me because I just accepted that Bean was driving, as shown. But as an adult, I'm super impressed! I had to look this video up to confirm it, because after seeing the scene multiple times I couldn't think of a way they could have FAKED it. And they didn't. Chaplin was a Genius, not just as a comedian, but as an actor, a filmmaker, a writer, etc. I like Laurel & Hardy more but Chaplin will always remain a legend. As for Rowan, I think he is one of the best comedians right now. No one could play Mr. Bean as good as him. He is also amazing in Blackadder and NTNON.

I will never NOT be grateful that I got to grow up with Mr. Bean. With my abusive father Mr. Bean was one of few people that I could watch and have true moments of nice father and son bonding. It's not much since I don't talk to my father any more, but I am very grateful that Mr. Bean was one of the few things that made my childhood a little easier to get through.
